| We left the lodge in the mountains at 6:30 AM to see some birds in the lowlands. There were still wisps of fog, perhaps from last night’s huge downpour. The noise of rain on the metal roof of our cottage sounded like a freight train. |

ReplyDeleteLunch looks delicious! Birdies are too cute! Well, the vultures are not cute but I love them. It's really something when they land on the roof of your house and walk around, especially the first time when you have no idea what is happening.

ReplyDeleteWhen we were there the food was always terrific. There was not a single aspect of our stay there that was not a cause for great delight. The birds are fabulous too!
