Hors d’Oeuvres

Before going out to dinner Sunday evening, we invited a friend to join us for hors d’oeuvres and a drink.
Len’s rye bread was great with olive tapenade, avocado spread, and goat cheese spread.
Besides baking, Len’s been very busy in the garden, and it’s looking beautiful.

We all drank sparkling water.

Earlier in the weekend, we took a walk near the Huron River.

It was a lovely day to enjoy the river.

  2. It's been FOREVER since I had good rye bread. I would love it with any and all the spreads. I can't remember when I last had olive tapenade, but I am certainly ready for some now. I bet it all went well with the sparking lime water. Very cooling and refreshing. Thanks for sharing your appetizers and lime water with us for T this week, dear Mae.

  10. Great hors d'oeuvres! I see you do as I do and leave the stone in the guacamole. Len's rye bread really looks yummy. Rye bread is difficult to make but your Len seems to have perfected it. I wish I could pop round for a slice...
    Happy T-Day,
