Quite a few giant skeletons and other giant figures have appeared in our neighborhood this year. I think most of them are dressed up versions of the Home Depot 12 foot skeleton, which sells for $299. The variety of presentations of this phantasmagorical figure is very impressive!

Addendum: a big werewolf. |
In yesterday’s post, I showed the smaller, but still very imaginative, displays from our neighborhood.

Oh my. Some of those are quite scary -- if I saw on a pitch black night. Yikes. don't run into them in the dark.
ReplyDeleteI love it! I recognize one from Lowes that we saw a few weeks ago. The first thing that always comes to mind when I see displays like this is where do they store all of this? Thanks for sharing your awesome photos.
ReplyDeleteThe large Halloween decorations are cool, they are popping everywhere here too. I think I could find better ways to spend my money, but I do enjoy seeing them on other people's lawns. Take care, have a great day!
ReplyDeleteHalloween rocks in your neighborhood!! It's going to be a fun night.

Creative work for sure -- but I know I'm too old when my main reaction is amazement that people spend so much time and money on this holiday. One that used to be for little kids!
ReplyDeleteThere are some cool and definitely scary scenes in your neighborhood. But these are fun to see Mae. Thanks for sharing them. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteSo much fun and scary!
ReplyDeleteI really like the pumpkins in the third picture. 🎃
ReplyDeleteThe large skeletons are all around here too. Some of the folks have left them up year round and dress them according to the season. I like them but not 300 bucks worth of like.
ReplyDeleteBig WOW, literally.
ReplyDeleteI love them!
What is with all the tall skeletons this year? They seem to be everywhere.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you have a lot of imaginative neighbors -- what fun it must be to drive into your neighborhood! I'm especially impressed with the ghost... it looks so somber and menacing there by the door.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness! I have not seen any of these huge skeletons ! Quite impressive but how are these monstrocities stored in the home after Halloween??
ReplyDeleteYou do have the best neighborhood! We have one guy that goes all out but most are much lower key, f they do much at all. This is great!
ReplyDeleteI think I was most impressed by the werewolf. I have to admit, I liked the smaller ones from Tuesday better. I admit you have one incredible neighborhood that treats Halloween in the way it deserves.
