It's been a long time since I posted photos of my doll house. Here, my favorite baby is having a drink with the mother doll while the other dolls are in the living room playing music. I have had favorite baby since I was a small child: the only remainder from my childhood doll house. |

I am always impressed to see how folks decorate and furnish doll houses. I had thought about getting one to put together, but decided I have enough projects I need to complete first.
ReplyDeleteThis is so charming! I especially like your broom closet and the cello player, and of course, the tableau with favorite baby having a drink. What a great way to bring history home!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely doll house. You must really enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great dollhouse Mae. I always wanted a dollhouse as a kid. I did have one, but it wasn't one where you could add more furniture or wall paper or other things to it. I bet you love having this one. I'm glad you shared this. Have a great T day. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThis is such a wonderful doll house, but if I understand correctly it is not from your childhood? What did that one look like, do you have pictures of it as well? How old is this doll house - it looks like it's been a few years. Very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSee??? I was too young!
ReplyDeleteMy Dad proudly presented me with a doll house when I was 4.
I "cleaned" it and that was that.
My cousin played with it and I had no idea what she was doing.
Today I would see it as an art project. But reckon it´s long gone. Sad. And I can´t even tell him (he was very disappointed I had no interest).
I think I still have a pic! If so.. .Post on some Sunday, thank you for the reminder.
Your doll's house is gorgeous. I would love to have a play, too! Happy T Day, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteLove this!
ReplyDeleteAs always, you have found a perfect way to celebrate T Tuesday. I never had a doll house. I got a train set because my grandfather tried to turn me into a boy, I think. This was adorable. Thanks for this wonderful entry you have given us for T this Tuesday, dear Mae.
ReplyDeleteHow delightful! Happy T Tuesday
ReplyDeleteNice doll house. I had one but I really wanted a train set. Happy T Day! Elle/EOTC xx
ReplyDeleteI never had a doll house but they are really pretty. Love your vintage dolls.

These are wonderful. I think my favorite part is the closet, though, and how well stocked it is! I sort of wish I still had a doll house -- but I don't think I need to start now. This is just charming!
ReplyDeleteI love that little favorite baby and how fun you have kept it all these years. Super fun doll house and I love they are having a drink in that room. Happy T-day a bit late, Mae, and hugz.
ReplyDeleteMae, I love your doll house! That is something I really liked as a young girl. So fun to see the close up of everything. Happy T-day, really late.
ReplyDeleteI used to have a child's dresser with a child-sized tea set. It was so pretty and so pink with grey tea cups and saucers. Such a shame my mum chucked it away when I was still young.
