Visitors

In the dining room: bananas — normally not here, but we have guests this week.
Avocados are also ripening for a special Mexican dinner.


Outdoors it’s rainy, grey, and mostly dampish-cold but still above freezing.
Inside the greenhouse at  the Botanical Garden, the chocolate trees are laden with cocoa pods.
Early explorers couldn’t believe the pods grew right on the trunk!

A number of the exotic plants were in bloom.

    i bought some avacados this week as well. things seem to be go swimmingly when avacados are in your life. My son loves to sing this meme 'Avacados from Mexico' over and over again, it's contagious.
