The joy of sharing good food shines through each picture. I would love to try it all, but especially the Bao because I don't have a recipe for that. We don't even have a good Thai or Chinese go-to restaurant here in Florida -- this area is heavy on mid-west franchise restaurants. Weather's better here, food definitely better in Eugene. Life is full of trade-offs!
These are pretty pictures of people and appetizing food. I have not had Chinese Bao but Vietnamese Banh Bao; they might be similar. As for banana pancakes I have never tried them. In France I saw they offered crepes with banana and Nutella, but I usually just eat the crèpe au sucre. You are a lucky person to have good cooks in your kitchen.

Oh my gosh! I love the smiles and the food. Banana pancakes (and muffins), rock! Cheers, Ivy.

ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteThe banana pancakes sound yummy. I have never tried Chinese bao, are they filled with mushrooms? Take care, enjoy your day!
