The Great Pumpkins
|
A few days ago, the Great Pumpkins arrived at their usual home. |
|
Carving the pumpkins happened earlier than usual this year: a whole week before the holiday. |
|
The owner of the pumpkins posed next to the tallest pumpkin they have ever had, though she says it’s not the heaviest of all time. She and her husband have displayed giant pumpkins for over a decade for every Halloween, and they set the tone for the whole neighborhood. |

WOW, pumpkin galore!!!!
ReplyDelete(I have some tiny ones today, too).
Was at the store on Saturday... make it plural. Christmas all over, near to no Halloween-things!
Love those hands especially.
Love the fall colors, beautiful trees. The Halloween decorations are fun, those pumpkins are huge. Take care, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteIt’s similar here. People are going crazy with elaborate decorations for Halloween.
ReplyDeleteThose pumpkins really are huge! And lovely carvings of them.
ReplyDeleteI have a friend who used to grow large pumpkins. He often won prizes at our state fair for them. He gave me a couple one year, but I never carved them. These people are brave to do that.
ReplyDeleteYour neighborhood is getting Halloween worthy and the colors of the trees are amazing.
I've never seen such huge pumpkins. I can't imagine the time it takes to carve each one. They are fantastic.
ReplyDeleteLove those giant pumpkins!! Great photos. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween Mae! It is wonderful to see all the houses decorated for Halloween, I love the big pumpkins. The spiders are cute too, a fun post.
