Rain brought mushrooms to our backyard. |
|
We started a walk along the river, and saw a squirrel with an unusual white tail. |
|
We had not walked far when it started raining hard. |
|
We sheltered at the boathouse, which was closed because of "inclement weather." |
|
A group of squealing children who were all soaked to the skin came back from somewhere to the room where their day camp meets. |
|
The swans on the river were not bothered. |
… and the sun came out

Hello, Mae
ReplyDeleteThe last scene with the waterlilies and pretty sky is a beautiful photo.
I love the swans. It is good you found a place to shelter from the rain.
Take care, enjoy your day and happy weekend!
What a nice rain! We are having drought conditions here, with one bit of sprinkle one morning being the only rain we've had in weeks.
ReplyDeleteWe need some rain, so I hope that system is heading east. You got some great rain shots. Stay dry-and cool too. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. I like those mushrooms, very attractive.
ReplyDeleteWhat an unusual squirrel. Love that tail.
ReplyDeleteYou got rain! Lots of rain. Wow. Beautiful photos of the waterlilies. I hope they don't choke the river. They can be so invasive, yet gorgeous.
It's rain usual for this time of the year for you? Those mushrooms don't look edible but have an interesting colour, as does the squirrel's tail.
ReplyDeleteHello. Wonderful collection. Great photo of a squirrel.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend.
We have similar weather. The mushroom looks very pretty and the last picture is awesome.

We have been desperate for rain here, and this in a part of the world that usually gets 55+ inches a year. So yesterday when we looked out and saw it raining in our backyard, there was some squealing going on.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scene for a kayak ride.
Mae, your photos are exquisite and you certainly captured that rain! Good you found some shelter Even the squirrel was cooperative and posed for you.

ReplyDeleteQuite the rain! We're seeing a lot of those white-tailed squirrels in our neighborhood. And a lot of half-brown, half-black. Go figure! Love the lily pads!
ReplyDeleteWow, you really captured the rain falling!
ReplyDeleteI love that last photo too. It's raining here right now but everything is pretty and green outside so I'll try not to complain!
