  1. So very lovely! I remember that peonies always bloomed just on time for Memorial Day (back in our former life, when we lived and gardened in the Pacific Northwest.)

  4. I am SO sad. The guy to the north cut my peony bush down when he built the fence. It had been my grandmother's and I had brought it with me every time I moved. These are truly lovely and I am so glad you got to see these at the Nichols Arboretum.
