In Charlottesville

At the University of Virginia: a beautiful day for classes to meet on the grass.
In the background: the memorial to enslaved people of the university.

Visiting Alice and Miriam, both students at UVa.
A beautiful day for an outdoor walk.

Small plates at Bang! — a delightful restaurant.

Another of the 8 or 10 dishes we tried at Bang!

Coffee at Miriam’s favorite: Shenandoah Joe’s.

  6. That Black History memorial is amazing. I was so impressed that it was finally built. I have researched it and how it finally came to be made. Thanks for showing it to people who may not be familiar with it.

Bang looks like a great place to eat and you can't go wrong with a cup of Joe!

  12. It is sad that for many of Charlottesville will be forever associated with another unfortunate event.
