On our walk today we enjoyed looking at many murals painted on shop windows. Reflections of the sky and of the street make the pictures more interesting.
The window art would encourage me to window shop. The first time I saw decorated utility boxes I was surprised I hadn't seen it before. It adds a lot to the public space, I think.
See that Pack-a-Paw Rescue Harness sign on the window behind the one mural? I Googled that. What a great idea for people who hike with their dogs! If he's injured or the hike is too much for him, you just put the harness on your dog and strap him to your back. Brilliant.
Les vitres peintes sont vraiment très originales. j'aime particulièrement celle du haut. pour répondre à ta question, l'environnement de ma peinture murale, est nul. C'est une impasse avec deux sacs poubelles...
They are all great Mae. Love the first one about the essential workers, the cute white creatures, the sleeping cat... Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Mae.
That first photo is timely, or I guess I should say a sign of the times. LOVE the kitty. And of course, those utility boxes sure brighten up a street. I had to laugh at Tea Ninja.
I might have X'd out of the comment box before I hit publish. These are terrific. It's been forever since I've been to A2. You remind me of what I'm missing! (Love the cat and the Tower especially!)

Looks like a nice place. Very colorful indeed. Have a nice day today.

ReplyDeleteWow. I love seeing all the art in Ann Arbor. It's lovely for me to see art wherever it appears, and windows, for me, are ideal for a bit of art.
ReplyDeleteWhen I get back out into the world a little more, I hope to take a look at Houston and see if it has more murals than I remember.
My favorite was the cats with the kites in what looked like onsies. Artist went all out there! lol.

ReplyDeletePeople go to a lot of effort. It makes such a difference. And I love the cat in the window.
