On the road again...

On the road, especially on the Ohio and Pennsylvania turnpikes, from Ann Arbor to Fairfax, VA. The rest stops offered food and drink — like Starbucks — but we brought all our own water bottles, snacks, and sandwiches. Inside the buildings everyone is masked. The roads were not crowded, and the trip went very quickly.

On the Pennsylvania Turnpike you can still almost tell that the rest stops were originally Howard Johnsons.

  3. It must feel good to be on the road again. I am still not going anywhere, so I am delighted to follow you on your new ventures. One thing about the PA turnpike. They have the cleanest rest stops around.

  7. I didn't realize this was your T Tuesday post. I must have my coffee, but Starbucks places emphasis on the BUCKS, especially the ones I save when I don't drink theirs (grin). Happy T this Tuesday as you wander through the highways and byways of OH and PA.

  20. Rest stops look the same the world over. They are needed for toilet stops, but like you, we usually bring our own refreshments.
Where have you been going? Somewhere nice? Or was it work?
I'm late again commenting. But have a valid excuse this time, I was busy celebrating my birthday!
    Happy belated T-Day,
    Lisca
