I have never been to Ypsilanti! I've never seen a sign that says "don't eat the fish" -- just "don't feed the fish." Wonder if there are contaminants from the factory building.
Why not eat the fish? Because the Huron River is polluted with PFAS at a level that makes fish unsafe. I think that PFAS was a problem for the Huron River before it received more widespread attention. We are told that swimming is OK -- but there are other issues with swimming in the river. We are also told that our drinking water is safe. I hope so!
