Enjoying Indian Summer

A few kayaks are still on the river -- not ours, though.

Lunch in the back yard. Possibly the last outdoor meal until spring.

In the park: dog walkers

Early-morning tai-chi.

  3. Pic #5 could be named "human walker"!
Bad memories of being 7 walking our German Shepherd (ar rather her me).
Ah, nice you had some warm days. Yesterday I could see my breath in the cold.

  5. We haven't seen any houses decorated for Christmas yet. Thank goodness! Let's enjoy Thanksgiving first (which happens to be my favorite holiday). Lovely pictures. It's been hot here the last week (well -- seasonally hot) but nice and chilly today. :-)

  6. So glad it's still warm where you are. The bottom fell out from under our weather on Monday. We went from a high of 70 + F to a high of 42 F on Monday. The wind made it bitterly cold.

Good you and Len got out while it was beautiful and had at least one more beautiful day to eat outside. You found some beautiful places to walk and share photos. Such beautiful places where you live.

  7. Sweet river setting. It looks like people are taking full advantage of the pleasant weather. I'm getting a kick out of your enthusiastic Christmas neighbors. We take our joy where we can get it these days lol I'm in!

  8. Funny, it was around 75° all of last week here and our neighbors had all their Christmas lights on, definitely not as pretty as the pic above though. This is the first November we've had the grill out to cook on. It's 35° here this morning, back to normal. We're locked-down by Gov Pritzker even more so for another round. So it's definitely semi-cocoon time! I love tai-chi, belonged to a group for that, but really loved it most watching folks out in San Francisco Nob Hill area doing it every morning, very slowly and methodically, awesome! Take care, be safe!

  12. Hello,

Pretty Autumn trees and views of the park. It is nice to get outside during the great weather, now I miss having a dog to walk. I have not seen any Christmas lights yet! Your neighbor really likes to decorate.
Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, enjoy your day. Have a great weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.

  13. Oh my your neighbour's house reminds me of the movie Christmas Vacation...so many lights! I think it's fun! :) But I'm not ready for that yet, I really enjoyed your Indian Summer photos. We had that for a few days too Mae and I took advantage of it! Now we're back to frosty nights! I'd love to be out on a river in a kayak right now! :)
