Here's a nice old ballad from folk singer Tom Paxton -- not what you would call a drinking song, more of an anti-drinking song. However, I think it will do as my contribution to Elizabeth's weekly blog event where many bloggers share thoughts or images of drinks, as well as other thoughts.
I had to make sure I played this. I have not thought of this song in years!
ReplyDeleteI love Tom Paxton! And that song!
ReplyDeleteYou do find interesting T day posts. I enjoyed this, as I haven't heard this song before. Have a great T day.
ReplyDeleteDidn't think I knew this one but as it started to play I did remember hearing it before-probably in our home when I was a kid:)
ReplyDeleteHappy T day!
I had never heard this before. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHappy Tea Day,

I also had never heard the song before or even the artist. This was quite interesting and I really like how you approach each T post. Thanks for making this another truly unique T this almost Tuesday, dear Mae.
ReplyDeleteI forgot to tell you, I explained how the grape juice got so old on my blog since several people asked. They got shoved behind where my scanner sits and I had to move it to make room for my phone, which I had to bring to my office. I had used the grape juice bottles to hold down errant papers when they were on the scanner. I somehow let them fall and never picked them up, even when I got a new scanner. So much for being anal and organized.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that song! Happy T day, Valerie
