We are watching the very new Netflix season of Chef's Table. There are four episodes dedicated to various sorts of barbecue in locations throughout the world. We watched the first two episodes this morning. I suspect we'll watch two more before we go to bed. Binging!
From IMDB:
"The critically-acclaimed series returns for its latest iteration, delving into the smoky, juicy world of barbecue. Featured chefs and pitmasters include Tootsie Tomantez, Lennox Hastie, Rodney Scott, and Rosalia Chay Chuc."Here are a few of my favorite scenes from the first two episodes. I'm not making an effort to describe just what's in these episodes, as they are similar in style and approach to every other David Gelb production that we have watched with great pleasure. And I don't think we have missed any.

Once again, I know better than to visit when I haven't eaten. Even though I'm a vegetarian, there are times I would LOVE to have some smoked meat from the grill. This series looks good. I think there's one on the Food Network named Smoke or something similar. Not sure if it's the same quality, but I liked the photos you took. Would you pass the potato salad, please?
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoyed the meal! Were you craving meat? Maybe your body was feeling the effects of the lack of Vitamin B12?
ReplyDeleteMeat heals! And we should consume more meat when we are getting older because our bones and muscles need animal protein! I am having some roast plus some bone marrow today. Have a great week ahead, Mae.
ReplyDeleteI love sausages, I love barbeque, I love everything grilled and smokey Mae! I have to see this one on Netflix! Happy new week!
ReplyDeleteBBQ hold a special place in our hearts here in Memphis, TN :) All of that food looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteI just saw this pop up on Netflix. We are going to watch it AND I'm sure it will inspire us to grill.
