Another Bike Ride

Along the Huron River there’s a bicycle path almost everywhere, in the city and along the country roads. On this ride we went from the Dixboro Dam just east of town along the river nearly into the center of town. All of the rides are beautiful, and we feel lucky that there are so many non-motorized-vehicle paths to choose from. The railroad tracks also parallel the river (as was a common practice in the 19th century when the rail lines were laid out). So there are numerous places where the tracks cross the river, which all seem to be an opportunity for graffiti artists. artists.

  1. Looks like the swallows are starting to gather together in preparation for migration. By the end of the month the great movement will be underway.
