This is the last week of July and the 1,000,000th week of coronavirus lockdown. The blog event Paris in July (
link) has inspired me to revisit earlier trips to this beloved and beautiful city while I'm unable to go more than a few miles from home. And the blog event "T is For Tuesday" (
link) has given me the idea of looking at tea from a Paris perspective. It's fun to see what other people are doing to keep their equilibrium during these challenging summer days, and to share experiences from the past with them. Looking at tea...
What an absolutely incredible and authentic post featuring Paris and T Stands For Tuesday. I loved the window displays, especially the colorful pots and the artist's palette. That was clever. So was your entire post. Oh to own one or two of those incredible tea pots you shared with us. Thanks so much for joining us for T this Tuesday, dear Mae.
ReplyDeleteThose teapots are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI have never been to Dammann Freres, it looks like a great place. With my mum we used to go to Mariages Freres (https://www.mariagefreres.com/FR/accueil.html) (they opened in 1854) because it was in the Marais where my mother lived. But, the last time I had tea in Paris, I’m afraid to admit it, I went to my favorite tea shop, the UK Whittard of Chelsea. At the time they had a shop in Paris on rue Bucci, near Boulevard St. Germain. Now, they have closed it and I’ll have to go to London next time to drink their tea (I’d like that too.)
ReplyDeleteHow special you were able to take this trip-enjoyed all the t shops-what a wonderful experience-thanks for sharing Happy T Kathy
