"Thank you, Healthcare Workers!"

In our neighborhood: many signs thanking healthcare workers.
This sign is specific: thanking workers at the University of Michigan Hospital,
where several of the neighbors work.

Chalk on the sidewalk is another type of sign:
"I turned myself into the virus
Marty: I'm COVID-RICK"

Even small children seem to be practicing social distancing. On my walk today, I saw very few people.

  2. That makes me think I need to make a thank you sign for the Fire Captain paramedic who lives across the street.

  6. These are great signs. I love the photo of your neighborhood, too.

Did you know that if you sing "Hail to the Victors Valiant" in "regular fight song time" it is 20 seconds? I saw a fun video demonstrating it with handwashing and now this MSU grad probably hums or sings the U of M fight song 20 times a day!

  7. Yes, a big thanks to them all!

I'm so glad to see that some people are taking this virus seriously!

A few days ago, my wife and I saw a woman pushing her small child in a stroller, and neither one of them were wearing a mask. To make matters worse, we heard that small child coughing. I couldn't help but wonder if that child had that virus, which truly saddened my heart.
