The crabs were cooked before being shipped, and then heated in boiling water |
One of our co-hosts, Harvey, did all the crab boiling and delivered them to the dining tables set up in the driveway. |
While adults were gorging themselves on crabs and many other treats, the kids played in the street, which was blocked off for the occasion. |
We and all the guests, including neighbors and friends of the hosts, are enormously grateful to Harvey, Anne, Phil, Ayumi, and their kids for hosting this great party.

ReplyDeleteHmmm... bacon-wrapped figs!!
That's indeed a FEAST! I haven't had any crabs in a long while...the seafood price here is just ridiculous. Sighs...
ReplyDeleteI don't suppose any houses are up for sale in your neighborhood? That potluck alone would be a perfect incentive to buy here!
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun!
