These pancakes look very yummy. Last Saturday was La Chandeleur, which the French celebrate with crepes. My French friend in Iowa sent me a message that I should make some, she was. I thought about it but it was February 2nd, my late husband’s birthday and I did not feel like a crepe celebration – maybe later. Then yesterday I decided to make pancakes from scratch (have not made any in at least 3 years.) They were good with maple syrup that came from a Bourbon barrel. My comfort was to go back and re-read all the comments on my blog since I stopped visiting blogs on account of my husband’s illness, and that did help me a lot. I felt I was among friends, a nice change as I know no one here in Nashville. Thanks for coming to my blog when I could not come to yours.
We love the taste of sourdough.. My husband often buys sourdough bread, but I don't think he's ever tried sourdough pancakes.. My be a nice treat for him... they look delicious.,

ReplyDeleteIt's rainy and gloomy here -- pancake weather! Haven't made pancakes in years. Time again, don't you think? :-)
