The Dinner Table and the Snow

Before dinner yesterday: the set table including the little bowls ready
for the pumpkin soup I made on Thursday and platters for the main course.

It was snowy and a weather advisory was in effect, so our guests opted to
come for a 5:00 dinner instead of a 7:00 dinner. 

I didn't take any photos of the food -- too hectic! After the soup, we had broiled steak, salad, and stir-fried baby broccoli with soy sauce and garlic. Our guests brought a cake for dessert. They left as icy snow was starting to fall.
