Our plane back to the US leaves tonight just after midnight. We fit in one more expedition: to the Roman port Caesarea, now a vast archaeology site. We also looked for the Bird Mosaic, which was the floor of an elegant Roman house perched above the port, now in a city park. It includes a number of recognizable birds, as well as various animals, which I will try to identify for a future post when I get home.
