Dining in San Diego

After a long morning and early afternoon of birdwatching Sunday, we had lunch at OB Noodle House not far from the mouth of the San Diego River -- the birding spot. Above: the busboy in his uniform. Gastropub is the classification. We enjoyed the food and the beautiful weather.

There's a bar indoors, and seats on the sidewalk.
The noodle house serves Pho (rhymes with Duh), Teriyaki,
and other Asian Fusion dishes.
Earlier in the day, we stopped near the San Elijo Lagoon for coffee at Zinc. The outdoor sculpture of a dog is quite amusing -- especially as there were 3 or 4 dogs enjoying themselves on the patio.

Saturday night, we had oysters and flatbread pizza at Zel's quite near our friends home in Del Mar... we remembered having oysters & pizza there last New Year's Eve.

  2. You sure are finding some unique places to get a bite to eat this trip Mae. Len looks so content in that shot and that dog, a bit scary don't you think?

Have a ball Mae! And, thanks for sharing...
