Our dinner tonight was made from local food from the Farmers Market in Keahou. Above: salad of local lettuce, tomato, and avocado with lime juice; a bowl of exotic fruit -- rambutans and dragon fruits! Also a sandwich (maybe not so local). Earlier, we enjoyed some sweet Hawaiian bread with locally grown & made lilikoi jam. Lilikoi is the much superior Hawaiian name for passion fruit. At the market, I used Photobooth to take kalidescopic photos of fruit, vegetables, local food products, and crafts. It was a lot of fun, and included some of the Kona Lisa logos from my favorite Kona coffee.

Oh you lucky girl, You're in Hawaii! How cool is that! Your dinner looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteSo was the Dragon Fruit any good? I was getting mixed reviews about it on my post.
Okay so you really have me curious about Photo-booth. I just bought a new MacBook Air
(finally) and it too includes Photobooth. I'm guessing there's a Kaleidoscope "button." I'll have to dig in and find out. (I have it on my home computer too but who has time to explore!)
Have a wonderful time, Mae. Enjoy and bring back lots of goodies and shots!!!
