At the Wild Animal Park today we spent quite a bit of time in the California section. The two condors were especially impressive, reminding us of the time we saw one of the last truly wild California condors in Ventura county.
The local porcupines were eating their favorite food: corn on the cob. The keeper seemed quite unafraid of them.
Later we walked down to the African Safari section, where the lions were chewing on huge bones.
