That new mug rack is a good idea. You have some real beauties, especially the handmade pottery.
ReplyDeleteSo sad about Chavez. If I remember correctly, USPS created a postage stamp honoring him.
I want that setup that Alice has for her herbs. Her meal look.s good, too.
Those photos from Hawaii look cool and refreshing. I am under a heat wave of 90 F (32.22 C).
Ohhh I love your mug rack and all of the mugs. Isn't is shameful how all of these powerful people have to exploit and damage others.
ReplyDeleteHello Mae,
ReplyDeleteI love your Hawaii photos, the turtle and stingray, the colorful fish and the shark are all beautiful. The cookies look delicious.
I like the plant stand for herbs. Thank you for linking up and sharing your critter post. Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
Alice's "Restaurant" looks pretty tasty! I love that she loves to cook and serve nicely. And that's great for the herbs. Looking forward to Monte Cristo! You have lovely mugs!
ReplyDeleteYour new mug rack is lovely! I also can't get over the Hawaii photos, that stingray is stunning.
ReplyDeleteMae, I love that mug rack- such a good idea. The book on dopamine also interests me. Yes, upsetting about Cesar ... Lovely memories from Hawaii
ReplyDeleteI love your beautiful mugs too. And the photos are wonderful...of somewhere I've never been!
ReplyDeleteI need those cookies!!!!
ReplyDeletewhat a beautiful mug rack. you have beautiful pottery, it is nice to see it out and displayed. i really love homemade pottery and have many pieces i adore. wonderful captures from hawaii, a great place to dream about!!
ReplyDeleteThat is a handsome mug shelf and some beautiful mugs too. And I like that indoor herb garden. What a cool idea. You must really enjoy that our granddaughter is so close. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThat's a cool looking fish.
ReplyDeleteThe mugs and the mug rack are lovely. I'm eager to watch The Count of Monte Cristo---maybe we will start tonight. Our herbs are growing well in our garden outside, but I tend to plant the same old herbs; I should venture out and try some new ones this year.
ReplyDeleteDavid Kessler's book The End of Overeating was really helpful for me to get a handle on my problems with food -- so much so that I don't need the GLP-1 drugs now that they're available. It was a good read, too, so I may read his new book, anyway.
ReplyDeleteGreat mug rack. That book would be the type of book that I enjoy reading. Maybe because I worked with Doctors, I actually like to learn about alternative choices to achieve health, instead of taking medication. Just a few days ago I heard on the CBS news here on TV about the allegation against Cesar Chavez, and it's sad to hear of another person in power abusing women. I like the herb garden setup. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Mae.
ReplyDeleteThe news about Caesar Chavez is so creepy. How did it not come to light earlier? Very impressive new mug shelf! And such cute mugs. Are they all homemade?

I think I need a mug rack!!! I got four and Ingo two from Madeley/Perth as addition, oh, help!
ReplyDeleteDistressing news about Cesar Chavez -- another hero revealed to have feet of clay due to despicable behaviour.
ReplyDeleteI just watched the first episode of "The Count of Monte Cristo" -- looks promising! I've never read the book.
I've been to Maui's gorgeous Io Valley, but never to Kona, alas.
I really don't understand that kind of men at all. Why, why, why. You would think they wouldn't need such behavior.
ReplyDeleteI'm quite envious of Alice's kitchen herb garden -- we have a pot of Basil but that's all! ... That news about a man I thought of as a hero was so awful -- just when you think the daily news couldn't be any worse.
ReplyDeleteThat's a really beautiful mural #MuralMondays
