What to eat?

Along with our friend Elaine, we tried this Nepali-Sherpa-Indian restaurant and found the food quite delicious. We enjoyed Mo-Mo (dumplings), two types of chicken, and one lamb dish. The restaurant is not new, but it was our first time eating there. Very pleasant!

I keep dreaming of buying some artichokes like this Parisian one.

Baking chocolate chip cookies is another dream. I have the chocolate chips!!

From Joan Nathan’s memoir: baking challa. I may try her recipe some day.

  1. I am just waiting for the first Ontario strawberries to appear. Always a joy. Then it will be followed by Niagara peaches and sweet corn. Ah, the joys of summer!

  4. I have to find a market that has strawberries. I hate those store-plastic-box things and my home grown crop yielded 12 this year. (that doesn't include the ones that birds or the squirrel took a bite of.) It all looks fabulous, Mae.

  6. Your food and drinks have me salivating, even though I don't drink wine. The strawberries look yummy, as well. You really should share this post with T Tuesday. It would be perfect.
